Use face-scanning security technology at train stations in Beijing, China

Facilities Recognition-based technology will be used to speed up security checks at busy train stations in Beijing.

When people go to work, the train is overcrowded, the security checkpoints are overcrowded, and the stations are overcrowded. This causes delays in security checks. As a result, there are frequent clashes between train users and staff.

Zhan Minghui, director of the Beijing Rail Traffic Control Center, said the city would scan the faces of passengers and install security checks when entering train stations to install cameras in the city.
